Delta statement on Senate passage of FAA reauthorization bill

Delta applauds Chairman John Thune, Ranking Member Bill Nelson, Senator Kelly Ayotte, Senator Maria Cantwell and the Commerce Committee on bringing an FAA reauthorization bill successfully through the Senate on a bipartisan basis. We are pleased that the nation's air traffic control systems will remain under FAA and Congressional oversight, and that misguided attempts to privatize or otherwise separate the air traffic control function from the FAA were not pursued. We look forward to working with Congress as the FAA reauthorization continues in the legislative process.
