Changes to Perth schedule for direct services to Christchurch and Auckland
Air New Zealand have been required to amend schedules and aircraft across our network due to the global issue impacting the maintenance schedule of the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine. In order to provide greater schedule certainty for customers and trade partners, we have made changes to Perth-Auckland and Perth-Christchurch services that impact travel through to 31 March, 2019.

Lease aircraft
772^ Boeing lease aircraft will be operated by Air New Zealand pilots and cabin crew. Crew will serve Air New Zealand's renowned kiwi meals and beverages on board. Please note, there is no Premium Economy cabin or Skycouch available on board this aircraft (click the link below for re-accommodation details).
The following Perth-Christchurch and Perth-Auckland services will be operated by Air New Zealand with the 772^ lease aircraft:

Once these flights are updated in the GDS the following will be reflected regarding the applicable services:
- An SSR will be generated to all existing GDS bookings, this will read 'OPERATED BY AIR NZ USING LEASE AIRCRAFT'.
- Please note the aircraft will show as 772 in the GDS. No specific indicator will appear for the lease aircraft as it will be registered as an Air New Zealand aircraft.
These changes to schedule will be progressively rolled out over the coming days.
