Busiest month of the year: Over 100,000 passengers on peak day
09-Oct-2014 With a total of 107,505 passengers handled at the Berlin airports Schönefeld and Tegel, 26 September 2014 was the busiest day in the history of the Berlin-Brandenburg airport company. On this Friday, 815 flight movements were recorded at both locations. In September, 2,685,433 passengers took off and landed at the Berlin airports Schönefeld and Tegel; 5.7 per cent more than in the same period the previous year. In the same month, 688,699 passengers (+8.6 per cent) were recorded in Schönefeld and 1,996,734 passengers (+4.8 per cent) in Tegel.
