airberlin: More than 2.2 million passengers in March
n March 2014, airberlin welcomed a total of 2,257,808 passengers on board. With passengers traveling almost 3.7 billion kilometers in airberlin's global flight route network, capacity utilization reached the high level of 84.1 percent. As was the case in the preceding months, airberlin further expanded flight capacity in yearly comparison. The airline company is reducing the previous seasonal fluctuations between winter and summer flight schedules by offering more year-round connections, especially on touristic routes and on long-haul flights, while establishing its offers on the market in the long-term.
