airberlin: Capacity reduction improves capacity utilization rate

06-Dec-2011 For the first eleven months of 2011, airberlin transported 2.1 percent more passengers than in the corresponding period of the previous year. In total, 33,280,624 passengers travelled with Germany's second-largest airline (2010: 32,603,590 passengers). Fleet capacity utilization for the first eleven months of the year improved by 1.9 percentage points to 78.4 percent (2010: 76.5 percent), whereas accumulated capacity decreased by 0.5 percent.
