airberlin again increases capacity utilization
06-Nov-2012 In October 2012, airberlin increased its capacity utilization to 81.00 percent, i.e. an increase of 1.3 percentage points over the corresponding month of the previous year. Last month, airberlin welcomed 3,177,080 passengers on board. Since airberlin reduced its capacity by 6.6 percent in October 2012 within the framework of its "Shape and Size" efficiency-increasing programme, whereas the number of passengers decreased by 5.0 percent (October 2011: 3,345,832 passengers), capacity utilization in monthly comparison increased to 81.00 percent (October 2011: 79.71 percent).
