Widerøe Ground Handling is a ground-handling subsidiary of Norwegian carrier, Widerøe. The company provides passenger handling, ramp handling, de-icing as well as ground equipment and ticketing services. It operates at 28 airports in Norway, and a further 14 line stations from Feb-2016 following SAS and Widerøe's agreement to transfer SAS Ground Handling's line operations in Norway to the Widerøe subsidiary. Following the acquisition, Widerøe Ground Handling will operate at 42 airports in Norway, with about 1,600 employees and an expected turnover of EUR1 billion.
