About
Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Association (VASO), also known as the Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Company, is a subsidiary of United Aircraft Corporation. The subsidiary was established in 1932 and transformed in 1993 into a joint stock company. It is a state-owned-enterprise with business units in aircraft production, MRO and after-sales support of aircraft. Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Association's current projects include the production of Ilyushin IL-96-300, IL-96-400, and the IL 96-400T extra-large cargo aircraft. It is also part of the IL-112 light military transport plane project (with the JSC “IL”). In addition, the company produces components for the Sukhoi SSJ-100 regional aircraft, provides production and component manufacturing for the Antonov An-148 as well as participating in component manufacturing projects with Airbus. VASO is headquartered on the site of Voronezh Pridacha Airport.
