About

TUIfly Academy Brussels is a TRTO with a main base in Brussels and a training facility in Amsterdam. It was founded as a daughter company of Jetairfly in 2004 under the name of TUI Airlines Belgium TRTO. In August 2004, full JAR-FCL 1 approval was obtained. The current name of TUIfly Academy Brussels was adopted in 2006.

Current products are type ratings and renewal trainings for B737NG and Classic, B767 and Embraer E-JET 170/190. On these types, TUIfly Academy also offers TRI, SFI and Ground Instructor courses. The aim of TUIfly Academy Brussels is to provide high quality training to Flight Crews as demanded by parent company Jetairfly, both after initial hiring or subsequent upgrades. Other customers are mainly TUI group Flight Crew. 

TUIfly Academy Brussels is currently going through the approval process to become an EASA approved ATO (Part-FCL). This is expected to happen by the end of 2013.
