Shannon Duty Free was established in 1947 at Ireland’s Shannon Airport and is a pioneer of duty free shopping, being the first retailer of its kind in the world. A subsidiary of the Shannon Group, the company partners with Gebr Heinemann as its full service supplier, providing up to 60 top name brands and 40s inspired entertainment. Shannon Duty Free is open 24 hours a day, with the retailer offering a unique ‘Shop & Collect’ service for passengers to shop before they fly and collect items on return.
