Safran Filtration Systems is a Safran company that specialises in the development of filtration systems and components for air, fuel, oil and other fluids and gases. Safran Filtration was established in 1941 as Filtres Francais, and was later rebranded as Sofrance, before it was acquired by Safran in 2016. Between 1973 and 2016, Sofrance developed solutions for A320, CFM56 turbofan engine, A380, A350 and Boeing 787 under Labinal Group and Snecma. It is a supplier to a number of industries, including aerospace, defense and manufacturing, addressing all filtration requirements from initial design to production and support.
