Established in 2011, AirAsia WiFi (formerly Tune Box and Rokki is a provider of inflight entertainment and connectivity. The company was founded by AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes and fellow investors Dato Kamarudin and Sami El Hadery to become a leading developer of inflight entertainment platforms in the Asia Pacific region. In 2014, Rokki signed a partnership deal with AirAsia to install an inflight entertainment and connectivity system on 150 aircraft. The company serves as an in-air digital platform for media, e-commerce, content streaming and connectivity.
