Affinity Capital Exchange is the first institutional exchange established for point backed securities, a financial instrument backed by portfolio of points issued by operators of loyalty programmes. Investors are offered the opportunity to purchase loyalty securities via the trading platform. Headquartered in New York, NY, the company provides airlines an avenue to monetise loyalty points, and develop an alternative revenue stream. In Dec-2016, Affinity Capital Exchange signed a five-year partnership agreement with NASDAQ to support the PBS trading system.
