Sheregesh Airport is an airport project currently under development in the Tashtagolsky District of Kemerovo Oblast, Russia. 


Nov-2023. Spectrum Group infrastructural projects head Ilya Roshchyupkin said the construction of Sheregesh Airport is expected to be completed at the end of 2027. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2025. Novaport Airport Holding deputy director general Evgeny Yankilevich said the required investment for construction of Sheregesh Airport increased to RUB10 billion (EUR104 million), previously estimated at RUB5 billion (EUR52 million). Mr Yankilevich said the cost was affected by inflation.

Oct-2023.

16-Oct-2023. Russia's Government announced plans to complete the construction of Sheregesh Airport's new terminal by 2026. Terminal capacity is planned at 1.7 million passengers p/a. 

05-Oct-2023. Russia's President Vladimir Putin signed an order requiring federal government and Kemerovo Oblast to ensure the commencement of Sheregesh Airport airfield construction work before 2025.

Jul-2023. Novaport Holding owner Roman Trotsenko said Kemerovo Oblast's Government will finance runway construction at Sheregesh Airport. Kemerovo Oblast expects to receive a federal government grant in the future. Runway construction is estimated to require a RUB9 billion (EUR89.13 million) investment.

Apr-2023.

18-Apr-2023. Novaport Holding co-owner Roman Trotsenko said the question of funding for the construction of a terminal at Sheregesh is resolved, however financing is required for airfield construction work. Mr Trotsenko said: "The key matter is persuading the Ministry of Transport to include heavy infrastructure - the runway and apron, in the prospective plan".

12-Apr-2023. Kemerovo Oblast plans to construct a new airport in Sheregesh with a 2700m runway by 2025. Terminal construction is estimated to require a RUB8 billion (EUR89.41 million) investment and runway construction a RUB6.5 billion (EUR72.64 million) to RUB8 billion investment.

Feb-2023. Novaport is prepared to commence construction of a new passenger terminal at Sheregesh in 2024, subject to a federal government decision on runway construction at the site. Deputy director general Evgeny Yankilevich said Novaport commenced planning work and expects to calculate the required investment by the end of 2023.

Oct-2022.

18-Oct-2022. Kemerovo Oblast's Governor Sergey Tsivilev reached a decision on the construction of an airport at Sheregesh, in cooperation with investor Novaport Holding. Kemerovo Airport's operator issued a tender for the preparation of the project was issued on 11-Oct-2022. The minimum price was set at RUB401 million. Applications are due by 08-Nov-2022. The airport is to be able to handle 200,000 passengers p/a. 

14-Oct-2022. Russia's Kemerovo Region Government issued a RUB401 million (EUR6.33 million) tender for the design of a planned airport at Sheregesh ski resort. The airport will be designed to handle up to 200,000 passengers p/a, with a runway capable of handling Boeing 737-800s, A320s and Sukhoi Superjet 100s. The deadline for bid submission is 08-Nov-2022, with a winner to be announced on 21-Nov-2022. The airport is expected to commence operations by 2025.
