Nusantara Capital Airport is an airport development project which will serve the city of Nusantara, Indonesia.

Nov-2023. Indonesia's President Joko Widodo announced he broke ground on construction of Nusantara Capital Airport on 01-Nov-2023. The new airport is expected to be fully operational in Dec-2024 for use by mid 2024 and will have an investment of IDR4.3 trillion (USD272.66 million). It will span 347ha with a 3000m long and 45m wide runway and a 7350sqm terminal. The airport will accommodate widebody aircraft, including Boeing 777 and A380s. Mr Widodo said the airport is expected to improve accessibility and connectivity in the Nusantara region, adding he is optimistic it will encourage economic growth.
