About
New Busuanga Airport is a development project to replace the existing Busuanga Airport facility, located in the municipality of Coron, in the province of Palawan, Philippines. The Philippines' Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) will oversee the redevelopment. The PHP953 million (USD18.7 million) project will involve the construction of a new runway and passenger terminal, enabling the airport to handle jet services. Busuanga Airport is an emerging holiday destination to attract international and domestic travellers and the infrastructure programme will allow the aerodrome to serve the expected growth in passenger traffic.
