Falam Surbung Airport
Falam Airport is a new airport construction project that will serve the people of Chin State, Myanmar. Chin State is bordered by the Indian states of Manipur in the north and Mizoram in the west, as well as Bangladesh in the southwest. The state remains the only one of the nation’s 14 states not served by domestic carriers. The new airport will reportedly be located in Falam township and will feature a runway capable of handling Boeing 737 or A320 equipment. No other capacity or costings data have been released.
Apr-2015. Myanmar's Government approved a proposal to construct a new airport in the country's Chin state. The government expects the new airport to be operational within three years.
