About

Bukit Malintang Airport is a proposed airport development that will serve the district of Bukit Malintang, Mandailing Natal (Madina), North Sumatra. According to Madina's Regency, the country's Ministry of Transportation plans to construct the new airport on a 200 hectare site near Bukit Malintang. The airport will feature an 1800m runway, and have facilities capable of handling short to medium-range aircraft such as the Boeing 737. Construction is expected to commence in 2019, and require approximately IDR270 billion (USD19 million).
