Adam Airport is a proposed airport development that will serve the city of Adam, in the Ad Dakhiliyah Region, Oman. Gulf Engineering Consultancy Ltd secured a consultancy contract to redevelop the existing Adam Air Base into a military/civil airport. The development is one of four new regional airports the Sultanate of Oman plans to introduce over the next five years. Adam Airport will feature a 4000m runway, and have the capacity to accommodate 250,000 passengers p/a and 12 Eurofighter Typhoon Aircraft.
