Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation
The Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) is the global voice of air navigation service providers worldwide. Founded in 1996, and headquartered in The Netherlands, Members share information and develop new policies, with the ultimate aim of improving air navigation services (ANS) on the ground and in the air. CANSO represents its Members’ views in major regulatory and industry forums, including at ICAO, where it has official Observer status.

Full membership is available to all ANSPs. There are also multiple Associate Members, primarily air traffic management and aerospace suppliers, including giants such as EADS, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Thales.
The organisation is headed by Jeff Poole, who has been Director General of CANSO since December 2012. Jeff was previously at IATA where he held positions as Director, Government and Industry and Director Industry Charges, Fuel and Taxation.
