Air Lines Pilots Association (ALPA) is the collective bargaining representative for over 51,000 pilots of several US and Canadian airlines. ALPA was formed in 1931 and is a member of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organisations (AFL-CIO) and the Canadian Labour Congress. Its headquarters is located in Washington, D.C.
