About

Established in 1991 from the former Finnish Civil Aviation Administration, Finavia Corporation is 100% owned by the Finnish Government. The organisation is charged with managing Finland's network of 21 airports, including those in Helsinki and Lapland. Finavia is also responsible for managing all air traffic control and related services. This entails the manning of air traffic control towers and centres, the provision of aeronautical data and the maintenance and development of the country's air navigation system. Air Navigation Services Oy (ANS Finland) is the air navigation business of Finavia.
