Brazil's Ministry of Infrastructure, Ports & Civil Aviation (Brazil MoI) is the ministry charged with the oversight and provision of road, rail, water and air transport services within Brazil. The Brazil Civil Aviation Secretariat was established in 2011 as the regulating body charged with the provision of safe and secure air services in Brazil. The government later incorporated the secretariat into the Ministry. Brazil MoI is responsible for the deployment of adequate infrastructure, the development of the country's transportation industry, including aviation, licensing provisions and public policy.
