About
Waimea-Kohala Airport is a state owned, public use airport located 2 km southwest of Kamuela, Hawaii, United States. Kamuela Airport was inactivated in August 1953 and replaced by Waimea-Kohala Airport. Facilities include one asphalt runway measuring 1.5km long, one taxiway, an aircraft parking apron at the west end of the runway serving the passenger terminal and general aviation facilities.
