About
Arturo Michelena International Airport serves Venezuela's third city of Valencia, after Caracas and Maracaibo. The airport is owned by state-owned Bolivariana de Aeropuertos (BAER) and operated by the Instituto Autónomo de Aeropuertos del Estado Carabobo (IAAEC). Named after Venezuelan painter Arturo Michelena, who was born in Valencia.
