Located in Tauranga, New Zealand, the airport is owned by Tauranga City Council operated by the Tauranga Airport Authority. Hosting domestic and regional services for four airlines, the airport is the base for Tauranga Aero Club and Bayflight Aviation. The airport, which offers 70 hangars, has a single asphalt runway measuring at 5988ft and three grass runways measuring at 3280ft, 2100ft and 2296ft long. Tauranga is a hub for Air Nelson.
