Opening in 1934, Western Nebraska Regional Airport (William B. Heilig Field) serves the city of Scottsbluff and the surrounding areas of Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. The airport is located approximately eight kilometres east of the city and is served by regional carriers subsidised through the Essential Air Service (EAS) program. Western Nebraska Regional Airport is owned and operated by the Airport Authority of Scotts Bluff County.
