Rockland Knox County Regional Airport
Rockland Knox County Regional Airport is a publicly-owned airport located approximately 6km south of Rockland, Maine. The airport was opened in 1943 and operated as Rockland Naval Auxiliary Air Facility until 1968, when it reopened as a public airport. The airport is a recipient of the Essential Air Services programme and primarily handles general aviation and air taxi aircraft, with scheduled passenger air services from Cape Air and Penobscot Island Air.
