Presque Isle International Airport, formerly known as Northern Maine Regional Airport serves Presque Isle and the surrounding areas of Aroostook County, Maine. The airport receives scheduled service from carriers subsidised by the Essential Air Service program. The airport features two runways, the longest of which measures 2267m x 46m, making it the second longest commercial runway in the state (Bangor International Airport has the longest at 3487m). Presque Isle International Airport is owned and operated by the City of Presque Isle.
