Opening in Dec-2013, Panama City Pacific International Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Panama City, in the Panama Pacific Special Economic Area, situated on the site of what was formerly Howard Air Force Base, operated by the US Air Force. The airport forms part of Panama Pacifico, a mixed-use real estate development, with the airport complex featuring an industrial park with MRO facilities. The airport is privately-owned by consortium, London & Regional Panama.
