About

Palmdale Regional Airport plans to serve Palmdale and the Antelope Valley. The existing airfield is located on US Air Force Plant 42.

Palmdale City Council created an aviation department in Apr-2009 to oversee development and reopening of Palmdale Regional Airport. Los Angeles World Airports was formerly in charge of Palmdale Regional Airport and ceased its operation in Feb-2009.
