Palmas Airport serves the central Brazilian city of Palmas, capital of Toncontins State. The young city lies on the border between the Amazon and savanna regions of the country and is the economic hub of the State. The airport is served by all major Brazilian carriers who offer connections with a number of major urban centres across the country.
CCR won concession rights for Palmas Airport in Apr-2021. A contract was signed in Nov-2021 and CCR commenced operation of the airport in Mar-2022.The airport was previously operated by Infraero.
