Padang Minangkabau International Airport serves the capital of the West Sumatra Province, Padang. The airport is designated as a Class I facility, and operates international and domestic services. The airport is also classified as a Hajj Embarkation Point by the Ministry of Transportation. Padang Airport is operated by PT Angkasa Pura II, a state-owned enterprise of the Indonesian Government.
