About

Osaka International Airport, commonly known as Osaka Itami, is one of four airports in Osaka, and is located 16km from the city centre. Despite its official name, the airport has been used only for domestic flights since 1994. Since April 2006, aircraft with more than two engines have not been permitted to use the airport for passenger flights. Kansai Airports, a holding company that represents a consortium of investors including Orix and Vinci Airports, operates Osaka Itami International Airport.
