New Paros Airport was a development project by the Greek Government to open a new airport on the island of Paros. The island is currently served by the existing Paros Airport. Construction of the new Paros Airport began in 2012. The new airport features a 2000m runway, with construction costs totalling approximately EUR15.2 million/USD16.9 million, with Olympic Air covering approximately half of the terminal construction budget. New Paros Airport was officially inaugurated on 29-Jul-2016.
