About

Nà Sản Airport serves the city of Nà Sản, in the Sơn La Province, Vietnam. The airport was built in 1950 and reopened from 1994 to 2004 but closed due to a degraded runway and failure to meet operating standards.

In Apr-2022, Vietnam's People's Committee of Son La Province submitted a proposal for a VND2 trillion (USD87.46 million) project to develop Na San Airport, under a public-private partnership model. In Dec-2022, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam advised the construction of Na San Airport will be temporarily delayed.
