Minsk National Airport, commonly known as Minsk-2, was opened in 1982 and serves the capital of Belarus, Minsk. Minsk National is the larger of two airports serving the city, the other being Minsk-1 Airport. The airport is a hub for national carrier Belavia, which accounts for the vast majority of traffic at the airport.
