About

Miangas Airport is a new airport serving the Island of Miangas in North Sulawesi. The airport is part of a government initiative to enhance freight and passenger movement across Indonesia's archipelago. Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation (MoT) completed construction works on the new airport in 2015, and expects service operations will commence soon. Miangas Airport is operated by the Unit Penyelenggara Bandar Udara, an airport operating unit of the MoT.
