Mexico City Toluca Airport

Primary airport
City: Mexico City
Country: Mexico

Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos International Airport, better known as Toluca Airport, is located in the town of Toluca and serves the capital and largest city in the country, Mexico City. The facility, located 40km from the CBD, has become a low-cost hub, serving as a base for Interjet and Volaris. Toluca has been increasingly suggested as an alternative airport to Mexico City Juarez International Airport, due to capacity and congestion issues at Mexico's main gateway. Toluca is operated by Administradora Mexiquense del Aeropuerto Internacional de Toluca (AMAIT), a consortium including the Federal Government, OHL Toluca and Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA).
