Mexico City Santa Lucia Airbase (Felipe Ángles International Airport)
Mexico City Santa Lucia Airbase is a military airfield serving the capital of Mexico, Mexico City. The airport will be converted into a commercial airport, and serve as a complementary facility to the existing main airport, Mexico City International Airport. Mexico's President Andres Obrador stated Santa Lucia Airbase's second runway project will be operational in two years and the parallel runways would operate simultaneously with Mexico City Juarez International Airport operations, construction commenced in Oct-2019. The airport will be renamed as Mexico City Felipe Angeles International Airport.
