Medellin Jose Maria Cordova Airport
José María Córdova International Airport is located in Rionegro and serves Colombia's second city of Medellín, which is home to the headquarters of numerous domestic and international firms and accounts for a tenth of Colombia's GDP. The airport serves as a hub for VivaColombia and Avianca Cargo (formerly Tampa Cargo), as well as a focus city for Colombian flag carrier Avianca. A handful of other Latin American carriers serve Medellín, with a few US services offered by American Airlines, JetBlue Airways and Spirit Airlines. Airplan operates the facility.
