Mattala International Airport (also known as Hambantota International Airport) serves the city of Mattala in southeast Sri Lanka. The airport, which officially opened on 18-Mar-2013, is the country's second international airport after Colombo Bandaranayake International Airport. The airport is owned by the Sri Lankan Government and operated by the Airport and Civil Aviation Services Company.
