About

Sawyer International Airport is located approximately 30 kilometres south of the city of Marquette, Michigan. The airport was relocated to its current site, on the site of a former US Air Force Base, after Marquette County Airport (30kms to the northwest) closed in 1999. The airport receives scheduled commercial services from the regional subsidiaries of several US airlines, which connect the city to other major US metropolitan centres. Sawyer International Airport is operated by Marquette County.
