Benedito Lacerda Airport serves the city of Macae in south-eastern Brazil. The city is a hub for Brazil's off-shore oil industry and one of the fastest growing in Brazil, located 200km east of Rio de Janeiro, and is now home to a population of 200,000. The small airport serves a limited number of domestic connections, most operated by Azul. State-owned Infraero operates the facility.
