About

Northolt Airport is owned by the UK Ministry of Defence and operated by the Royal Air Force. It is approximately 10 kilometres north of London Heathrow Airport. Prior to the development of Heathrow, Northolt served as the primary London airfield for civil air services as well as military and general aviation services. It now serves as a base for the 32 (The Royal) Squadron, the Queen's Colour Squadron, the Central Band of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and British Forces Post Office.
