Liberia Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport
Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport serves the largest city in Costa Rica's north-west, Liberia, and is a gateway for regional tourism and the Costa Rican Riviera. The airport is the second busiest in the country and ninth-busiest in Central America. The airport is operated by CORIPORT SA through a 20-year concession grant, which included the construction of a new 23,000sqm terminal, inaugurated in early 2012.
In Jul-2021, Liberia Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport launched the 'Guanacaste Airport' brand, with the aim of improving the airport's visibility and attractiveness to international markets. The airport's offical name will not be changed.
