About

Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport serves Kabul, the capital and most populous city of Afghanistan. The airport is the primary international airport serving the country. Like the country it serves, Kabul International has had a turbulent past and has been the military base for various defense forces over the past four decades as the country suffered various political and international conflicts. The airport continues to serve as a military base and is also the main hub for Afghan airlines including Ariana Afghan Airlines, Pamir Airways, Kam Air and Safi Airways. Most destinations served from Kabul are in the Middle East and Subcontinent region.
