About

Diego Aracena International Airport servces the city of Iquique, the capital of Chile's northern Tarapacá Region, west of the Atacama Desert. The airport is the third busiest in the country, after Santiago International Airport and Antofagasta Cerro Moreno International Airport, and shares a runway with the Chilean Air Force's Los Cóndores Air Base. The airport is well served domestically by LAN Airlines and Sky Airline, with international connections to Peru and Bolivia. The airport is operated by A-Port Operaciones SA.
