Higuerote Airport serves the city of Higuerote, Venezuela in the state of Miranda. Venezuela’s Ministry of Water and Air Transport announced plans to invest USD1.9m into renovating the airport including a runway drainage system and terminal, fire station and control tower upgrades in May-2013. The airport opened to commercial services in Apr-2014.
