About

Gogebic–Iron County Airport is a county owned, public use airport located 13 km northeast of the central business district of Ironwood, Michigan, United States. A grass runway was constructed in 1930 and the first terminal building in 1960. Scheduled passenger services began operating in 1949 using these facilities, until the asphalt runway was constructed in 1978 and the new terminal building was constructed in 2010.
